Message App doesn’t show numbers

Hi,

when i receive a message, the message app doesn’t show the number next to it how many messages I received.

Works on my iPhone but not on my iPad. My girlfriend has the same problem on her iPad.

Of course all notifications are turned on. I turned them off and on, turned off iMessage and on again, did a restart ( home and power button ) but nothing fixes it.


Any ideas?

Just double checking this specific setting is turned on.

I’ve had the same problem for a week. Badges on iPhone and Watch but not iPad.
Also delays of several minutes in actually receiving messages on iPad, when they are already on iPhone and Watch. (All within 1m of each other.)

This Massages in the Crowd is still buggy, methinks.
