Message from MBP to iPad

On MBP there is a Dock. Blue icon of Message app. How to send msg from MBP to iPad within same wi-fi network?

You can send a message to yourself and it will replicate to other devices.
I suspect that’s not really what you want through. If you can provide more details it might help.

Same iCloud account? Can you provide a real example.

Of course:: multi-storey house. One iPad is in one room, MacBook in the other. iTV in third room. One iCloud account for all devices.

Want to send MSG from iPad to MBP and back using Message app. Will not let me to.

You can't send an iMessage to yourself? That's what I do and as @Howard2k mentioned it will show up on all your devices.
