    I'm a big boy, I don't need an alert reminder that there is no subject. Same goes for the Mail program on the Mac. What do you guys think? And why does Apple feel the need to push this on us?

    The mail I guess makes sense, but if you're not going to use subjects on an iMessage... then turn it off in settings.

    As stated, the poll references email, not iMessages.

    And why did they implement this with iOS 5 anyway?
