Hi,

Did you notice that, when you get a (i-)message and read it on the  Watch first, all of your other devices will still notify you?

Is that normal? I think it's quite annoying. When I use the Messages App on OS X, it will mute that particular conversation on my iPhone while the window is in focus. It even goes that far to start notifying me again on the iPhone as soon as the window is in the background.

The -Watch however doesn't do that. This limits its usefulness, because I still need to "acknowledge" the notifications on my macbook, iMac, iPad and iPhone…

When I read a message on my watch the iphone marks as read - also if i just dismiss the notification on the watch then it also gets dismissed on the phone

My iPad always shows out of date notifications but it was like this before the watch anyway. Macbook is even worst.

Nope, doesn't sound normal to me. I would reboot both phone and watch. If it still works, I'd talk to Apple. When I dismiss or read a message on my watch, it shows as read or dismissed on my phone.
