Message tone

When I receive a message and unlock the phone while the sound is still going, the tone gets really loud for a split second. It's a tone I made in iTunes but it happens with all tones. Is there a fix? Thanks.

it probably gets really loud because it competes with the unlock tone.


how long is it anyway? tones are really just meant to be 1-3 seconds can't you wait until its done?

It's a 30 second tone, my text and voice ones are interchangeable. I turned off lock sounds and it still happens. It's no big deal but it is an annoyance. I'll just have to make a shorter set for messages, I've been looking so hard for a techy answer I didn't think of the obvious!
