My Messages app is taking up 22 Gigabytes. I've deleted all messages from unknown senders, but I'm sure there are loads of videos and other attachments that I can delete. The problem is, I can't find a way to see large attachments like photos and videos. I don't want to delete everything, but I'd like to cull through and try to remove about 10 GB of this stuff. Is there a way?

System Settings > General > Storage > Messages

You can do the same thing in iOS/iPadOS as well.
Thank you. From there, it lets me delete all of a User’s texts, or I can tap the user to display their Messages. Then, tap their name, scroll down to Photos, “See All”, and then tap “Select.” Now I can select all the photos I want to delete. Not the easiest, but it works, eventually. It’s easier to delete them from the phone than from the Mac.
