messages app: don't see "recently deleted" option in View

I mistakenly deleted all conversations in the messages app on my mac.

I don't see the "recently deleted' option in View to try and recover them.
Is "recently deleted" available on High Sierra?

No, it is not available on High Sierra. Ventura only (and onwards as they come).
