I didn't know there was anything other then stickers? What else is there?
While in Messages, if you tap inside the text entry field, then tap the arrow to the left, then the A for Applications, then the four dots in the lower left you will see a big plus labelled Store. Tap that, then the Manage tab and it will bring up a list of apps on your iOS device that can be enabled in Messages.

On my phone I have, the default #images, Fandango, IMDb, Music, OpenTable, Scanner Pro, and Yelp (not all enabled).

LOVE Apple, Mac, iOS stats. Good or bad, I eat them for breakfast.

I was seriously considering a unique, never before seen concept, sticker pack priced at $9.99. Will that price point not be possible?

If your idea is scratch-n-sniff, sorry that's been done before. But if you pull it off on an iPhone I'd drop $10.

My son is studying overseas and we have a lot of fun playing 8-ball pool using the GamePigeon collection games. Hardly ground breaking but something nice to pass the time.

It just goes to show that Apple knows what they're doing in terms of marketing and giving what people want. There's a big market for these kind of things targeting a certain demographic, albeit not mine. Although, I have found it a bit amusing at times and annoying most of the time but eh, it's fine.

Apple has been very slow to the game and even going backwards in some regards (iChat supported multi-party chats, FaceTime is back to just singles). But none of that really matters in the grand scheme as long as people are enjoying what's out there.

Two weeks out & there are already over 1200 sticker paks. I'm going to download them all and send all of them to everyone.

As a complete layman in this field, I'm going to say no that is not possible. The tragedy of the App store is that stuff much above free does not sell much at all. $10 might as well be a million dollars in the way it will stand out.

Not really directed at this article in particular, but I sure would love to see our society move on from $x.99 pricing and just round up to the whole number. I mean who are they fooling? It's just insulting.

I wonder how many of those have been grabbed online and are violating copyrights of whoever once designed them. Probably a goldmine for lawyers.

Even though I'm not very big into this, you have to consider that you can use this for a while. I would pay upwards of $5, but after that it seems a bit expensive for what it is. It's an addition, additions shouldn't be expensive.

I can't use them my wife is blind so the stickers don't speak even the apple ones and my daughter bailed and bought a galaxy and my customers I would not send stickers to them.

Interesting messages right here, when 3 months ago people were saying "Stickers are for Kid, i will never use them".
I don't know if that's the same people, but... Seems like some people were wrong ;D

When I was on Facebook stickers on posts were a big thing. And I think some people used them on FB messenger. I like the smaller stickers I've seen.

I like to have fun and my family and I make use of emojis so I thought I would enjoy stickers but I find they make communicating feel a bit clunky and the iMessage window looks cluttered and oddly sized now. I suppose it just takes some getting used to.
