Messages App uses almost 100% CPU

Just installed ML last night. I ran my Retina MBP on battery power today and had Messages open. I noticed my battery life was at 30% in only 2 hours! I checked the CPU usage of Messages and noticed it was around 90%.

My fans were also on a little higher than normal. What are your thoughts?

What happens if you kill the app and restart it? Does it do the same thing?
Have you restarted your Mac?

I do not have this issue at all on the cMBP 2012, not sure if it's just ML that does that to you?
