I have 2 macbooks with latest 10.8.2. The Messages app does not show the history from chats started on 1 machine. It also does not show prior history from my iPhone iMessage although it does seem to keep new chat history.
Is this how it is supposed to work? It seems like Messages across 2 macbooks should stay in sync.
