Hi on my partners iPhone 5s when he receives a text from me he get it twice once under my name the second under my email address we've tried deleting me from his contacts and adding me again but still won't cgange

Go to your phone, settings/messages/send&receive/ select just your phone number.
You have to do it on your phone, nothing that can be done on his end.
