Messages app slow and laggy.
iMessage randomly deactivating.

Yes! My phone stopped receiving imessages after I updated to 8.2.
Logging out of iCloud from the device and logging back in solved the problem, but created another another one, which I'll explain in another post.

I just updated my iPad and had this happen. I have 2 step verification on and I needed to make new app specific passwords again for my iPad, iPhone, and my Mac.

Not sure it's been since 8.2 but a couple of contacts do not show in blue (having iMessage)on my iPad but are fine on both iPhone and MBP .
Anyone else having this issue ?
I did all I could think of (On-Off , Hard Reboot , Reset Settings , Delete Contacts and add back ) The iPad is new and was set up as new .

Correction, our alerts have started working this morning, and we didn't make any changes to our settings. Don't know what was up with that?
