Messages not syncing

I updated to WatchOS 3 and although I am receiving text messages, when I enter the text app, it doesn't show any current messages and only has messages from yesterday. Anyone have any thoughts?

Try restarting your Watch and iPhone. If still happening un-pair and re-pair your Watch. You can also try signing out and in on your iCloud account.

I posted about the same issue today. Restarting the watch fixed it for me as well.
