My left shift key when clicked makes a very weird clicking sound whenever I tap it and gets stuck for a second after hitting it, and pops back up. This is very very annoying. Anything I can do? I don't feel like bringing it back to Apple for this, but it's getting on my nerves.

maybe something is stuck underneath it-- if you can't just pop the key off, it would be safe to go to a store..should be able to fix it while you are waiting there if it is something simple

Thanks for the reply.

I live over an hour away and I dont feel like driving to the Mall of America, I already tried just cleaning the keyboard, but I don't know what else to do.

Is there a way for me to take off the upper case without damaging it and not voiding the warranty?

Great idea. I actually have a can of that laying around here somewhere I will try that. Thanks!

I hosed the key with canned air after I scrubbed down a little bit with water, and it fixed it! thanks!
