iPod touch Messed up!!!!

My iPod touch (4g) will not turn on unless it's plugged in, the apple just keeps on pooping up if I try to turn it on when it's not plugged in!!! It's VERY annoying, what should I do???
 
If it's under warranty, they'll fix it. Otherwise it will cost you. I can think of a couple potential causes.

Cost depends on what it is and who does the repair. It's hard to tell you, but you're best off taking it in. I never had great luck with overall battery longevity on the ipods, which is annoying. I really liked my old nano.
