Hi guys,

Im new to this forum but certainly not new to mac. I have been using both messenger 7.0.2 and the beta version of 8 for some time. I have recently upgraded both to Snow Leopard, and changed my ISP to TPG (Australian ISP). Ever since, when I attempt to connect to messenger (either version) it says the connection failed as I am not connected to the internet. My internet works fine so I am at a loss as to what the problem is.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

I have tried, but also to no avail. The adium logo has a square/circle thing that rotates continuously next to its head, and the program doesn't connect.

Hmmm...that's strange. I sometimes get automatically signed out of MSN for Mac but when I sign back in everything seems to be fine.

Try Palringo, another IM for Mac...and it has a multi-network feature! Note that it's currently in a Beta version.

And if all else fails...you could always go on eBuddy web messenger! 🙂
