It's been a bit slow at work in the autoparts distribution business so I've been bringing my pico projector to work. Since we're in the back room the managers don't notice or care and the projector is just small enough so it's not a problem.

For those that think that pico projectors are only good in the dark, the AAXA P2 projector is definitely usable with a lot of ambient lighting. I'll just let the pictures do the talking :)

This is what the AAXA p2 projector looks 65", lights but daylight streaming in

Guess what we're busy with most of our time? Our productivity is definitely at an all time high :) The excel screenshot was just for good measure :)

Here's what my AAXA P2 looks like 60" in the dark.

I am particularly impressed with the P2's black levels. The color quality is not yet home theater quality, but the black levels are quite decent compared to even home-theater quality LCD projectors from even just a few years ago.

Wow - this looks a lot better than my P1. Cool thanks for this, I think I'm going to have to upgrade!

Wow, that is pretty amazing. Does it get really hot?

I have a Dell projector (cost about $1400, last year) and it gets REALLY hot. Funny story, I was presenting at a company meeting and another speaker came up to talk. Rather than hitting the blank/black screen he grabbed an old school VCR plastic case and set it in front of the lens.

I didn't think a whole lot about it, until the case started smoking. I ran up and grabbed it and the light from the lens was actually burning a whole thru the plastic.

Crazy.

Nice Post,

How far do you have to be to get 85"?

How does the video qualityfrom the internal media player look
