Pretty sure people have bypassed the safety guardrails of every model out there so far. It's just a matter of time.
I'm willing to believe they will at least pretend to not save logs, though, to try to get some legal cover the next time some person dies as a result of bad advice, or because they get told by the model they can achieve a higher consciousness or the model will be waiting for them in the afterlife.

I work in this industry and it's impossible for company to not store user's messages. There's too many abusers and no way to figure out how to fix problems users ask without them. They can store them safely and encrypt messages so noone can just simply open them.
