Metal on iPhone 5c?

At wwdc, metal was announced for what I thought was all iOS 8 devices. Is it only for the A7 and later because all the app reviews of apps that use metal say iPhone 5s or later...
I was hoping to take advantage of metal on my iPhone 5c. Thanks for your input.

It is indeed only A7/A8 devices.
