Hey guys,

I have my new rMBP and I noticed something weird, when it goes to sleep with the screen still open I can hear a metallic noise, something like a click

I was wondering if it is normal or it is something I should worry about

Thanks

can anybody with a rMBP try to do this please... starting to get a bit paranoid about it!

thanks a lot

The only "moving" parts in the rMBP that I can think of would be the Fans. Wonder if one of the fan blades is cracked or the fan itself is loose?

I hear the same thing and I think I'm having a similar experience when I change resolutions under Windows BootCamp. It's a distinct 'clicking' noise - not terribly loud - but I think it might have something to do with power being cut from the screen when it changes resolutions/goes to sleep? In my case, changing resolution in Windows also results in the backlit Apple logo blinking on and off, which doesn't happen under Mac OS. However, it's that 'clicking' that is the most concerning.

Sorry, this is the closest mine makes...
