MetaX tags not displaying in iTunes

I'm using the latest version of iTunes and MetaX and am successfully tagging all of my files (TV shows, movies, etc) but when I import them into iTunes then none of the tags display and they all appear as their filenames in the Movies section rather than TV Show, etc. I then have to tag them all again within iTunes. I can't see anyone else having this issue though. Is there a reason this will be happening?

Actually, hold on. I've just realised that if I change the media type to 'TV show' within iTunes then the tags all return. Interesting. Anyway, not too big an issue now. I'll try that with a movie as well, switching to TV show and back to movie and see if that works.

I use MetaX very often and Ive never encountered this problem. Do you set the iTunes plugin enabled and to automatically send to itunes in preferences?

I know that when I identify the file at a TV Show in metax that it still imports into itunes into Movies.

No I don't have the plugin enabled. Never have done as far as I know. This never used to happen but has only started recently. Like I said, it is fixed with a quick change of media type. Never mind, not the end of the world I guess...
