The mic that is used by the 5S front camera is dead. DEAD. Every video filmed with the front camera using the stock camera app results in a video that has a very (I mean VERY) muffled sound and an almost ghostly hiss/buzz to it.
Oh, and Siri is officially dead too.
AFAIK Snapchat uses the bottom mic to record ze sound. Are there any camera app alternatives that use the bottom mic for front camera video? Or a jailbreak tweak possibly?
