mic wont work

any idea what i did?

i tried to make a skype call and it randomly doesnt work.
i then went to microphone calibration and it doenst work at all there either

I used it about a week ago, so i know it worked at one point. any ideas?

Go into sys prefs > Sounds > Input > Should look like this, make sure mic is selected.
