Hi all,
Ever since I've owned my Apple Watch series 2 42mm, the Mickey face piece has always given off a "crackling" when telling time especially when audio adds things like "good evening" besides the time.
If you are not familiar with this, you can google Mickey crackling and you'll see what I'm talking about. In any case, after swap outs of my original NEW watch with a refurbished one (couple times), I still have a watch that "crackles" when Mickey tells the time. I've gone through extensive debugging with their techs, but no go. I have a feeling that it's a hardware issue and not software related. And I might go further to say that Apple probably realizes this and is not making it known to the public. I've always put Apple Inc. above all but their integrity was shook in my mind when they had that battery debacle so I wouldn't put it pass them that they're just ignoring this and won't admit it's a hardware issue for obvious reasons. They'll have to recall and replace every series 2 watch which can be costly.
Wish I could take a poll as to how many series 2 owners have this issue when using the Mickey interface and more interestingly whether any one has one that doesn't display this defect. What experience have you had? Looks like Apple is no different from any other company-worshipping the almighty dollar above all else. It's too bad, Apple was my hero. Sad day.
