Its been 1 week since I got replacement screen on MacBook Pro 2017.

I was working on a sunny day and noticed micro abrasions on the screen, all over the place!

Abrasions are noticeable only under sun when you move screen around as different parts are hit by sun.

- I'm taking this in on Monday for another issue, from here: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/mbp-2017-13-tb-screen-replacement.2135003/
- I'm afraid they will blame me and my cleaning methods for the scratches - I use microfiber cloth, nothing else!
- Should I even mention it? or just go for uniformity problem?

Also when I got MacBook back from repair, it had finger smudges all over it. Left me with a unprofessional feeling.

Well, I definitely wouldn't focus on the finger smudges. Perhaps point out both the screen uniformity and micro-abrasions and inquire as to whether or not it is a refurb display My guess it is and perhaps it isn't one that is in prime condition. See if they are willing to swap it out for another.

Abrasions are visible only under direct sunlight, with quite a bit moving around. I wonder if new screens also have these, but people simply don't see, as typical work env is just an office or dim home.

Nor that I have ever noticed on a new one and since I often work from home and sit outside in the direct sunlight, I would hope I would notice? But who knows hahaha

I also noticed that new screen has keyboard marks regularly, this didn't happen with the previous screen!
Could this be scratching the screen vs refurbished theory?

My 2016 has keyboard marks from oil on my fingers. It's really annoying, but I don't have any abrasions as far as I know. I just wipe the screen and keyboard down with glasses cleaner every couple of weeks or so.
