FYI: For anyone looking for a great deal on a 2018 Air and who lives in a town that's fortunate enough to have a Micro Center, they're blowing them out for $799 (128gb) and $999 (256gb). Cheapest deal I've seen all year long.

OMG! Thanks for sharing. They have 3 left. I'm close to the one in Tustin. I can't go until tomorrow. I am on this. Is the keyboard okay on these models? Any issues? I haven't really researched the MBAs. I have a 2011 MBA and love it. It's still running well. I was thinking about a 2020 MBP with the rumored keyboard, but for $799, if I lasted 8 yrs. with my 2011 MBA, I can live with another one. Thanks.

Any difference between a 2018 MBA and a 2019 MBA, if there's even a 2019 model out?

You can reserve one on Micro Center's website and then you have like three days to pick it up in the store. Don't even have to pay for it until you get there. I've had mine for a few months and it's been perfect. Zero keyboard issues (with a four-year warranty on the keyboard just in case you have any problems.) Bright, colorful Retina screen. Reasonably fast CPU. Long battery life. Mine has been a joy to use as part of my freelance writing business, but not everyone on this forum will agree with me. Just buy one and try it out. If you don't like it, take it back for a full refund.

I appreciate your response. So to clarify, the 2018 MBA sold at MicroCenter has the keyboard issue. But is it Apple or MC offering the 4-year warranty on the keyboard. The reason why I'm asking is because I don't plan on purchasing Apple Care. I'm going with the 1 year warranty and hope the 4-year warranty for the keyboard suffice. Irvine, MC still has 3 left. I'm going first thing in the morning tomorrow. What is MC open box return policy? I don't plan on returning, but was just curious. $799 is a GREAT DEAL! I can't pass it up. THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH for your post.

The MicroCenter in Irvine is the one off of Dyer Rd. off of the 55 Fwy, right. I thought that area was Santa Ana.

Is there a 2019 MBA model? If so, any difference between 2018 and 2019?
