Why? Tablets are bigger and more powerful and capable than phones. To me it's the other way around, I can't believe they're cheaper than a Smartphone!

Not sure, its maybe because its not always with me 24/7 slash a mandatory product like my cellphone, its more a luxury
I love my iPP’s, but its not like I use them all the time compared to iPhone, even using them a lot over time— just when I’m at home for the most part and relaxing/surfing
I always felt ever so slightly guilty even paying $699 for my 12.9 gen 2 last year, and me thinking Ive gotten my money’s worth over time
Just called apple. They priced matched micro center. And she gave me the 512 as well.

I just got 11in 256gb. They definitely had more than 10 of those. But they pull the boxes from the closed door, so it’s hard to talk about the supply. Good luck!

Apple hardly ever price match so they must be very anxious to move these. If one is not in a rush after Xmas sale will be even better than BF.

How did you get apple to price match?
Picked up the 11" 256 at the Chicago store this morning. I was pleasantly surprised at how hassle-free the experience was.
Though still overpriced I’m wondering if I should do this ... I have a micro center very close with lots of units
I’d be eyeing the 11” 64
Could probably flip my x and/or 9.7 pro to lessen the blow ... but do I wanna give more money to apple after watch series4 (traded up and sold a friend my series1) and Xr (traded in 7+ for $285 credit)
$150 off base probably ain’t gonna happen for a while. And $200 id say real unlikely until It’s old gen

You should’ve sold 7+ on Facebook or something , I sold mine with 128gb Verizon unlocked in 1 hour for $400
It was a matter of convenience I know I could’ve gotten more for mine but it’s ok
Also the volume button was working but feeling on the fritz so I didn’t wanna sell a person something that could fail in under 6 months. Apple’s recycling - no problem.

Returned 64gb 11” to Apple store
Could not agree more. Sent my son over to the MI store this am, as I am in FL and he grabbed the 256 SG 12.9 for me @999.
I needed the larger to use as second screen anyway for work as well as other needs for it. Still high priced, but hey better than full price for so early on in release.
Now to find the folio and pencil for a price outside of insanely high for what they are.
I have been a micro Center fan for years, they are always pleasant, fair priced and really nice folks.
Got my 11 inch 256gb at noon, and there were still ~50 out of ~60 iPads left in that configuration, so looks like they have a good supply. Micro Center always has awesome Black Friday deals on Apple products and doesn't hurt their customer service is also top notch.

Do you think this would work if I chatted with them? I don't know how long the microcenter sale goes for, one person told me online til the rest of the week, another one told me til tomorrow so not sure which one to believe. I wanted to price match through best buy since I have a gift card to use but they don't price match on BF weekend
