Have been using the Pro Max Pacific Blue for a few days and had it kept in the silicone case since out of the box.
Today I can already see micro scratches around the lightning port!
I definitely didn't abuse it and just by normal usage it caused scratches by the lightning plug.

How on earth Apple is buzzing their "coating" and "durable" stainless steel while it cannot withstand a few days of normal use?

Anyone else experiencing this?
Also can I use some polishing cloth to rectify it?

You sure it’s scratches and not just dirt? I thought the same thing too. Take your case off and give it a wipe down.

Micro scratches are always going to happen, it’s no big deal.

I didn’t have any scratches or micros scratches on my 11 Pro Max and I was using it without case.

Now I am using a 12 Pro Max without case and I didn’t have any issue

Stainless steel will show scratches more. I have noticed at the Apple store from all colors the Pacific blue model shows the most scratches. Probably because many want to hold it
