Microcell with a JB iPhone 3.1

I just got a Microcell and its all setup but I can't tell if its working. Since I Jailbroke the phone I don't have a carrier and used Make It Mine to just put something up top.

What do I need to do so it says Microcell up top so I know I am using it.

I did that carrier logo file update that is listed under one of the threads but it still just shows AT&T up top. I used the phone last night and like 3mins showed up on the microcell so I guess its working I just need to know when its working.
