microcenter $999 comes with iLife'11

so does any one know, who has bought the MBP 13" from Microcenter- of it comes with ilife '11?

*also does the 13" cause eye strain?
 
It does as of my purchase on 20 November. It was an additional disk thrown in the box.

No eye strain here, but I've never had issues with flatpanels whether CCFL or LED backlit.
 
haha i emailed the microcenter people before i posted this thread to see the answers and this is what i got (be prepared to laugh and cry! -- well maybe.. dont take it too personally 😀

It coems with the older version.

maybe they were just too busy? and realize that they have a disc shipped?? or are those very few people?
 
What you got doesn't surprise me at all. I do not have high expectations of the knowledge level of the individuals who answer email inquiries such as yours.

No slight meant to those folks; I figure they're doing the best they can, but my guess is the better folks are out on the sales floor rather than answering emails.

hmmm thats what i think too so this saturday (yipeee!) when i get my MBP from microcenter, ill make sure to ask them

So you know... When I bought mine the sales guy told me it didn't and I said I'll wait and see if I want to upgrade it. He tried to sell me the whole iLife pack. I was glad I waited because as soon as I got it my car I popped open the box and found the update disc inside. I posted a pic of it in my thread I linked in my earlier post.

I used the money I saved buying my pro from them to put in an SSD 🙂
