I recently bought a Apple IIe and to my discovery it had a modem in it can anybody tell me any info on it?

I remember the day Hayes went under the first time.

I couldn't believe the company that created the "AT" command set and drove the entire industry to use the phrase "Hayes Compatible Modem" had gone. 😱
