microphone above ipad front camera

    i was watching the ipad video from apples web site and i saw this microphone looking thing on it
    heres the link

    The microphone is at the top/rear of the iPad. That thing above the front facing camera is probably the ambient light sensor.

    I also noticed this and was about to post about this, but then I saw this thread.

    Anyway back on topic...

    Dual microphones maybe? That doesn't look like an ambient light sensor to me.

    What is an ambient sensor supposed to look like?

    That is the light sensor, the mic is on top embeded in the aluminum. It's the same grid mesh pattern that you'll notice in a white iPhone

    I think by now, we all should know what all the holes, grills, grids on an iDevice are, no?
