Microphone for iPod Touch, 3rd Gen, Lecture recording

Hi all,

I'm wondering if you guys have any recommendations for recording lectures with my iPod touch, 3rd gen. I would prefer to be able to record from like 50 feet away, as I like to have wifi access while recording. Most external mic's i've seen so far are only good for recording voice memos from nearby. Any recommendations?
