Microphone not working on 10.5" Pro

My mic isn't working for Siri, nor when I record videos.

I tried all the resets and restoring recommended online, but still no success.

I have put a Bestskins ever on recently, and wondering if some moisture from the application process could have damaged the mic.

If I'm sending the iPad back for a warranty check, should I remove the skin?

What do u mean by skin? U mean the metal body of the device?

It's possible moisture could have compromised the microphone. I would remove the skin before sending it in.

No more wet skins for me then, ever!

Its gone back for warranty repair today - I guess I'll probably receive a refurb back.....
