MicroSD not working on Mac. :( HELP!

I'm trying to put ringtones on my MicroSD card to play on my phone but when I try to drag and drop my files it gives me a "denied" icon and doesn't allow me to drop my files in the SD folder. I really need help with this ASAP! 🙁 Thanks!

If the card is not formatted Fat32, but NTFS, you won't be able to write files to it without a plugin like NTFS-3G.

MS-DOS FAT-32 🙁 regular format, just won't let me drag and drop and I am NOT going to use my crappy PC to do this.

Realized my reply might have been a bit confusing. my microSD card is FAT32 format already :/

Remove all contents from the card. Reformat it using disk utility and try again.

If you run Get Info 🙂apple:+I) on the icon for the card, does your user have read & write access?

I'm having the same problem and when i 'Get info' it says 'you can read only'. How do I make it so I can write also?
