Try re-pairing the mouse to the USB receiver and test again.

J jvkpoppy macrumors newbie Original poster Apr 10, 2014 2 0 Apr 10, 2014 #3 when I plug in the USB dongle.. ...the keyboard setup assistant from System Preferences pops up, tells me the keyboard can't be identified. It won't pair to the mouse, it thinks it's a keyboard I guess and won't recognize it.
