John Carmack liked it too. This acquisition is widely regarded as a good thing, and if it helps bring Carmack back to games development it would be an excellent result.

The acquisition has been approved, I'm sure we will see some PR tweet from Microsoft or Bethesda.
Its hard to say what the future will hold, and how many titles will be exclusive, but this is probably the final motivating factor in choosing Xbox X vs. PS5

Ars Technica is reporting that a bunch of Bethesda games are now on game pass
And this is why I'm moving to the XBox from the playstation platform This is just the first wave and I do expect that new titles in development will largely be exclusives.

I haven't played many Bathesda games but look forward to getting stuck in to some of them through gamepass.

I know Fallout/Elder Scrolls series is cheap to purchase now, but I still didn’t want to pick it up. Since it’s now on game pass I can test it out and see why lots of people like it.
I will say that some people are worried about existing games leaving the playstation platform. I see over on the Bethesda fallout 76 forum, people basically saying goodbye it was fun while it lasted. Based on what MS has stated, existing games are not going anywhere and will continue to be supported.
I think games particularly like Fallout 76 really do need multi-platform support, its a popular game and has survived the really rough buggy start. Its still quite active and from what I know console play is by far the more popular way to play and if they dropped the playstation that would probably hurt the overall game.

the platform and web design is horrible, the matches would stutter and show 10 second loops of kun Augero scoring a goal 7 times they we would have to reboot the website or device.t

Ouch, sounds like the dodgy sky sports streams I have watched in the past. Gave up because of these issues.
