It's like a glass shower door with years of hard water stains and soap scum.

That's cause it is.... think how long they've been working on this. I doubt they've had any time to "clean" up the UI.

It's all a scam, I tell you. Here's what'll happen - people will buy Windows Vista Home Basic, because its the cheapest - and traditionally, Windows for regular people has only shipped in two versions. Most people didn't need Pro, Home was fine. Now, people not in the know will buy the cheapest version, thinking it will serve thiem fine. However, after they buy it, they realize that it is really crappy, and need a higher up version. Then, the people have to go back to the store and buy a better version. Bam, two sales for one PC.

I'm catching on to you, Microsoft!!!!!!!!!!!
