In jaguar I had my microsoft intellipoint optical (the beige one with 5 buttons) set up just the way I wanted it. The scroll zoomed in photoshop and when i clicked and scrolled it changed through tabs in safari. But not in panther in the scrolling section of the preferences there's only "scroll speed". Is there a way I can bind keystrokes to the scroll wheel again?

It seems strange that microsoft would take out features, or is it just that the preference panel works differently depending on the OS it's installed in?

Cheers,

Chris.

I tried the old version of the mouse drivers and it made no difference. Must be something about panther. If anyone finds a way to bind keystrokes to scroll up and down on the scroll wheel, please post here or let me know...
