Microsoft Office Identity Database

I'm using Microsoft Office 2011, but in my documents, under microsoft user data, I also have a folder called Office 2008 Identities. In that folder there's a file called Database, taking 5.20GB of space. Is it safe to delete it?

If you don't have Office 2008 installed any more, then it is OK to delete it.
