Anyone know if we can install the 'Microsoft Office Mobile 6.1' into our itouch and use it open MS file like words and excel?

there is this web based app: http://www.apple.com/webapps/productivity/mobilewebdocs_johnswanson.html

I believe that the touch can open excel files from attachments in an email I think, not sure about other types maybe powerpoint documents aswell.

also found something called readdle, theres a review here: http://itouchtips.wordpress.com/2007/12/18/ipod-touch-document-viewers/. The plans for this app are

Thanks for the information

I am able to open the file from my email now, but am i able to save the file inside my iPod Touch and open to read it whenever i need it? There is no option for me to save the file.

Anyone able to enlighten me. :confused:

well I was on installer just now and spotted something called Docs which is basically a viewer for all office documents.

It still does not allow you to download files from mail or internet but it allows you to view all the office documents on the touch that are stored locally on the device
