That's just retarded
Why would anyone want Microsoft retail stores or any tech stores for that matter.
With all the Mstards around, though, it'll most likely be successful. Argh.

For fun, let's all go into the store absent-mindedly, and then ask them where are the new iMacs and iPods. When they tell you they have none, yell loudly, "What! What kind of Apple Store is this?!" and storm off.

Lol... I would gladly do that... if only I was in the US :).

the reason they opened a retail store on the same day as launch of windows 7 is because there going to have to have a designated place to downgrade everyones computer to xp after they realize it sucks.

and they made it look exactly like an apple store (infinite possibilities? really? with he apps plying and ****?) because they didn't have any ideas of there own so they made it so while there downgrading peoples computers, it'll remind them of the apple store so they will go buy on of those where they really don't need a store, cause there computers work.

Someone has to organize a flashmob to go in there and ask to buy iMacs, iPods, iPhones, etc. and when they say we don't carry Apple products here, reply "OMG! I thought this was an Apple Store! Did you guys pay Apple to design this store?"

From a european pov it's really strange to see people cheering in a situation like that. Almost a bit scary. It's like the video to Soundgarden's Black Hole Sun

I couldn't help but laugh when watching this, its like an apple store with just different products. Create your own style MSFT, people want unique companies not biters

Yeah, like putting FM tuners on MP3 players. :D

There a bit of a difference BUBBA! Some consumers actually wanted a FM radio and requested one. And even then Apple only included one when they could have it make sense to their design and make it useful so the majority who really prefer to have their own music on the phone might actually use it instead of paying for something they wouldn't.

I doubt they had an outcry from their customers that said, copy Apples store down to the tables and the Genius bar so that if you changed the logos and the products you couldn't tell where you were. I have never seen anything like this. Businesses borrow from each other all the time but this is just stupid. Even with Disney getting direction from Steve Jobs I can promise you it will not be a direct copy.

"woooo! come spend your money! woo!"

I never really understood why that happened at apple store openings, and I think its pointless that MS decided to do it as well

Someone should go to their store and bring a virus-infected file on their USB and then secretly transfer it onto all computers in MS store...:D

MS Haters, this is your chance to express all the bad feelings you have towards Microsoft...

When I first saw an Apple store, it reminded me of those Gateway stores. Also, the Apple store design is hardly unique. Swap out the computers with clothes and it looks like your average mall clothing store.

HA HA HA they even copied the bad things about Apple (which are few) the cheesy opening cheering and whooping and high fiving which I always thought was just awful and cheesy.

Awww Mac fanboys giving this a negative rating how sad for them. I'd definitely shop at this store.

If they aren't selling computers then this seems like a big fail.

Customer: I've been playing with this PC here, checking out Windows and I think I'd like to buy.
MS Employee: Great! Would you like me to get you a copy of Windows from the shelf?
Customer: Actually I needed a new computer because my old one is dead.
MS Employee: Oh. Well, we don't actually sell the computers.
Customer: Then what are these ones here for?
MS Employee: To show off our software.
Customer: But how do I run your software if I don't have a computer?
MS Employee: Err, well, you'd have to buy one first. You could get one at Best Buy.
Customer: If I go to Best Buy to buy the computer why should I come all the way back here to buy the software when I can get it at the same time there?
MS Employee: Ummm.

At an Apple Store they obviously make the computers and the software that comes with it. If you go try out a Mac at an Apple Store, you can then buy exactly what you're looking at, right there.
