Microsoft Teams - System Audio and Media Keys

Using Microsoft Teams for work on macOS Big Sur. I have the following issues that have not been resolved since the start of the pandemic:

1. Making or Receiving calls using MS Teams does not pause Apple Music automatically;
2. When trying to manually pause Apple Music using the keyboard when receiving a Teams call, it instead "pauses" the Teams ringtone (pressing the play/pause button again then resumes the Teams rington); and
3. After a Teams call is complete, pressing the "Play" button on the keyboard to resume Apple Music instead plays the Teams "Ringtone" (almost as if the Teams ring tone is the last song you were playing).

Has anyone had or overcome this issue?

I cannot help you in regards to Apple Music as I don't use it but I can tell you one thing: I use Amazon Music, and what you're describing works 100% (not the automatic pause but manual using the media keys) on both my Macs (Intel iMac, M1 Air) and has been since I've started using Teams extensively in early 2020.

I guess what I'm trying to say is it may not be Teams's fault.
