Microsoft Update Help!

I'm having trouble with Microsoft Update while trying to install Update for Windows XP (KB930916) and Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 7 for Windows XP (KB931768). Whenever I install them, they come out at the end of the update process as "failed", and I get a dialog window telling me that they weren't installed. This is driving me crazy!

Have you got an anti-virus installed? Norton is a big culprit for this.

If you do (and theoretically you should do) then try disabling them and any firewall you might have then try again. 🙂
