I was planning to buy one for my iBook, but I couldn't find one in the shops here. So I bought a Logitech VX notebook laser mouse instead, and it's great!

Thanks, look forward to the review. Any chance it includes feedback on Microsoft's IntelliPoint Mouse Software for Mac OSX which was just updated a day or so ago??😀

Other than mentioning the fact that Intellipoint does not recognize the mouse unless you connect via built-in Bluetooth, no. If you have any suggestions, fire away, and I'll see if I have time to add it to the review before it's posted.
Here, use this trick to make it work with built-in bluetooth..
I use LaserMouse 8000 with my iMac everyday, fantastic mouse, except I don't like that when you turn it on, it takes some while (and freezin arrow) while it stabilizes.. But apart from that - brilliant mouse.
And don't forget to set performance bar almost at the highest settings in intellipoint system menu.. Otherwise it's a bit laggy with built in BT (on medium performance settings)..
