I just got my MS wireless notebook mouse from newegg (model 4000), but the I can't seem to get the thing to work. I placed a brand new battery inside the mouse but the optical light will not come on. I made sure the battery orientation was correct, and these batteries are fresh.
Am I doing anything wrong? If not, I'm sending this mouse back for replacement.
