Microsoft Word 08 Quits Upon Opening

Hey.
In the last day I have noticed that my Microsoft Word for Mac (from Office) wont open. When I start it it begins to load and then says "Microsoft Word quit unexpectedly". I don't seem to have done anything to my Mac in the last day to have caused this. What could be wrong and is there anyway to fix it. Everything else on Office works ok.

Have you changed anything, such as running an application like Xslimmer or Monolingual?

MS Word auto quits? I'd almost consider that a feature!
