MICROSOFT WORD for Mac and lowering footnotes.

Hello,

Does anyone know how I can lower footnotes so that they are closer to the bottom of the page instead of being so high up? I mean, they're near the bottom but there's still a big gap between the rest of my document and the actual bottom of the page.
