I"m currently using Microsoft word 2011 on my Mac, and while in use I keep getting 2 pop-up messages every 10 minutes! I'm pretty sure I haven't run out of memory... but can't seem to figure out how to get rid of these messages even after I deleted a bunch of stuff from my computer Screen shot 2012-04-01 at 3.17.12 PM.png

Have you tried trashing the Microsoft Office for Mac preference files?

You can find them here.

Code:
~/Library/Preferences

You can. When you start Word again, a "fresh" file will be created. The idea is to exterminate any bugs that crept in.

Text box won't accept Greek text

Here's what I'm trying to do:

I have the first verse of St John's Gospel in Greek and English, and a commentary to go with it.

I wanted to put the verse into a text box with the commentary flowing around it, but Word interprets the Greek as a graphic and won't allow it to go into a text box.

What do I do?

thanks-a-million
