I'm looking at ordering a Mid 2009 Antiglare Display Assembly for my Mid 2010 MacBook Pro. You are probably wondering why I don't order the 2010 part instead; I want standard resolution (1440x900). Now, resolution debates aside.

Is there any reason why it wouldn't be compatible? Has anything construction wise changed for connecting the display assembly to the body? Has display connectors changed?

I'd love to know this too?

Hi there,
I'm just wondering if you went ahead with this Display assembly swap and what your results are?

I am hoping that it works, as I have a client who is planning the same thing.

Did you end up performing the swap with the 2009 and 2012 Display Assembly?

- Thanks. ^_^

I never went ahead, the companies that sold them told me they wouldn't accept a return if it didn't fit because I'd likely damage it, and any local authorised reseller seemed unwillingly to help out.
